This next point may seem obvious, but don't wear white to a wedding unless you are the bride! A white blouse is fine as part of a multi-coloured ensemble, but you will win no friends competing with the bride on her big day.

The most important thing is to make sure that you feel confident and comfortable in the clothes that you step out in.
